What this is about
China is not an abstract topic for me from a distance. I am in the country several times a year and know it from journeys, encounters, practical questions and my own projects.
Today, with the right technical tools, meaningful conversations are possible even if there is no shared language. But translation alone is not enough. What matters is patience, interpretation, follow-up questions, trust and the ability to turn an encounter into a clear project.
I do not replace specialized advice for contracts, purchasing or dealing with authorities. My strength begins where a China connection needs to become clearly visible: as a project page, text, story or public presentation.

Many misunderstandings are not caused by missing words, but by different expectations. I help structure a project so that people in Europe can understand it.

Shuiman Impression is a tea project from Wuzhishan on Hainan. From encounters, tea, origin, people, landscape and conversations on site, a multilingual public presentation emerged.
The site presents tea, rainforest, cooperative, families, old tea trees and a tea house. Not as a loud sales page, but as a calm, documentary-style presentation of a local project.
That is the point of such projects: real material, real encounter and clear storytelling become a visible project.
What I do not replace
I am not an interpreter for technical negotiations and not specialized advice for contracts, purchasing, production, customs or dealing with authorities.
If that is what is needed, a Chinese-speaking specialist or specialized adviser is the better choice. My work begins where experience, material, travel, encounter or idea needs to become a clear presentation.
